The Eastern Sierra Book Festival is for sale!

Help Write the Festival’s Next Chapter

After nine wonderful years, the Eastern Sierra Book Festival is for sale! We’re looking for a new owner to carry this much-loved community event into its next chapter.

The festival comes with an established regional reputation, a federally registered trademark, website, original artwork, mailing and author lists, physical equipment, and a rich archive of past events. Just as valuable are the community goodwill, relationships with authors, sponsors, volunteers, and our host venue, and the practical knowledge built over nine years.

Founder Jennifer Crittenden will assist the new owner with planning and running the 2027 festival to help ensure a smooth transition.

Interested—or know someone who might be? We’d love to hear from you.

Jennifer Crittenden will be speaking on Friday, October 23, 2026 about "Eastern Sierra Writers, Old and New."
