Yes! We have another literary agent joining us this year. Gisa Seeholzer from Inspired Ink Literary agency will be speaking. Don't miss your chance to meet her and tell her about your book project.
She writes, "I love to offer something engaging and encouraging for authors at any stage of their journey. This is my first year representing writers through my own agency, Inspired Ink Literary, and I’ve been especially focused on helping unpublished and self-published authors navigate the path to traditional publishing with clarity and confidence. My hope is for attendees to leave feeling more informed, empowered, and excited about their publishing journey."
Her talk, “From Pages to Possibilities: How to Find and Submit to a Literary Agent,” will include:
What literary agents focus on (tailored by genre and agent interest)
Tips for crafting a strong query and synopsis
Guidance for self-published authors seeking traditional representation
A transparent look at vanity publishing models and how to evaluate them thoughtfully
Also, the literary nonprofit, Books in the Woods, will be tabling at the event! Their Board Chair and Gisa will both be there sharing their programs and connecting with the community.
This year's event is looking like a big one, with lots of authors and vendors coming. We expect a great turnout, so don't miss the fun.
