KEYNOTE SPEAKER ANNOUNCED!

We are delighted and honored to welcome Professor Char Miller to the festival this year. Char is an unusually interesting and engaging speaker.

DON'T MISS THIS!

He will be speaking about his new book of acclaimed nature-related essays, but, knowing Char, it will be a wide-ranging and fascinating talk about issues critical to our region.

Books will be on sale, and you can meet Char and have him sign your copy.

KNOW AN AUTHOR?

They can sign up to participate in the Eastern Sierra Book Festival. We will introduce them to the audience and sell their books.

Entrance, participation in the Authors Showcase, selling your books, and promoting you on social media are FREE.

I go to books and to nature as the bee goes to a flower, for a nectar that I can make into my own honey.
~ John Burroughs

We are also excited to welcome Janet Goldberg, with her new novel, Proprietor's Song, a story of loss and hope, set in the high Sierra.

New books for sale from local or attending authors.

Used books for sale all day - at low low prices. Seriously low. Like Death Valley low.

Fiction, children's books, beautiful biographies, humor, non-fiction, and more.

CALLING VENDORS!

Tables for the day are $50.

Merchandise does not have to be book related

(but it's nice if it is).

Can you help?
The book festival is looking for volunteers. We'd love to have you.
We are notoriously bad at sorting and publicizing the many photos and videos of previous festivals. HOWEVER, we did put together two nice videos from last year. The first one is about Jonathan Howland's book, Native Air:
Interview with Jonathan Howland
And here's one we did with David Carle interviewing Danny Nielsen about his book, Straight Flossin'.
